The works is good. I am impressed by the quality of the work. The only frustration I have, is late in the day, I get a message that demands $15 more for service. This is three times what it would be if I canceled the order and replaced it based on the information that was sent to me. The contractor waited until the end of the day to try to demand more money. When I said I am not going to do that and please release the job, the contractor then stopped communicating with me and did the work at the originally amount. The work is great. Hard to argue with that. Getting a message demanding 50% more money at 6pm from the week's top earner makes me think they are doing this to a bunch of folks.

St. Augustine grass shouldn't be cut as low as other types of grass. Low cuts mean more watering (and more $). Next time, please adjust your blades higher.

This was the first mowing of the season with the grass and weed in a tangled mess around 20 inches in length in my back yard. The work was done very well. I can safely walk out to my backyard again. Thank you!

Blowing the dirt off the driveway and patio was not good. Left clumps of dirt. Debris was blown into the front door porch and walkway. Some was blown against the front door. Not sure if they will come and clean it up.

The one minor thing I'd add is that the mower blade was set too low for St. Augustine grass. For best results, cut it at 2.5 to 3 inches. This lets the blades of grass stay healthy and the blades can shadow the soil so the sun doesn't bake out as much of the water.

The contractor came out the day after I placed the order. They were professional efficient and effective. Could not ask for more.

The grass that was cut looks good, but they forgot to cut half of my front yard.

I mentioned in my comment that there are many uncollected leafs in the front yard; they were untouched. Also, there were missed patches of uncut grass. I also expected you guys will collect the tall grass you cut, but it was all left on the ground. It took me an hour to clean up and now I have to hire someone else to finish the job.

This was done a day late on a day with no raining. When I asked at the end of the day on the due date if it would be finished, I was assured it would be done in the morning the next day. It was not done until late afternoon the next day and the work was sloppy with numerous missed spots from turning too soon or not overlapping enough. The edging was not done at all despite my instructions on edging and including it in the order with the surcharge applied.

Had delayed service, but it was eventually completed and we got complementary edge trimming!

Everything was great except for being three days late, which was the main issue, and looking outside to find one of the workers relieving himself in the middle of my yard. In both my initial instructions and in follow-up with the mower, I said that I wanted the yard mowed to about 2", the right height for a St. Augustine yard. The mower cut it down to about an inch and also left some small clumps/strips where he skipped small parts of the yard.

They accepted the job and didn't actually get to me until 2 days later. Then they mowed half of my neighbors lawn... on both sides. I'm not expecting perfection or even close to it but this seems to be a little much to deal with. I had to get out and mow my neighbors lawn to make it look halfway normal. I added additional money because they originally accepted the job to come out on Sunday. I can deal with an honest mistake or issues but this seems like shotty work and unreliable at best.

All I like is his edging. He did not follow my instructions about the grass cuttings. This has become my pet peeve hiring thru this site. The thing I have been complaining about their work is they ALWAYS leave their grass cutting on the grass. It's either they intentionally do it to save time/effort or have no bags or they don't know the negative effect this has on the lawn. Most of these contractors here at lawnmowingonline justify that they leave the grass as mulch. What they don't realize is these dead grass holds water like a sponge and the living grass will not have room for air and too much moisture becomes breading ground for mold and pests -- this will lead to the lawn worse than before. I thought I could have better service this time around. But again and again I'm disappointed. :( I hope you will take this constructively. I hope you can make your service better by collecting the grass next time. I will even offer you bags if you dont have one. A little effort goes a long long way to a satisfied customer. And like I instructed just leave the bags beside the trash for trash day. But this was not followed at all.
