"How does LawnMowingOnline
determine grass length?"
It's not easy. There is no automatic way to determine the grass
length so we have to depend on our
honest customers to give us an approximate length.
If we arrive and the grass is significantly longer
than described (more than a few inches) the
mower may or may not mow the property depending on the length.
If we do mow, we'll send you an email requesting the
unpaid portion. If we don't mow, we'll offer to mow for the
correct price or a refund minus a $10 trip fee which is used to
pay the mower for his gas and time to drive out to the property that he
could not mow. Either way
we'll include photos proving the length of the grass.
Just to be clear this policy is not for the order that says 6-9" and
there are a few 12" weeds so the lawn isn't mowed. The most common
situation is when the order says up to 3" but the majority of the lawn grass is closer to
18" like the photos to the right. Fortunately most of our
customers are honest, we've only had to request
additional payment due to grass length on less than 1% of our orders.
